We departed Fisherman's Landing on time at 9:00 PM with a boat filled with excited anglers. The fishing has finally started to go wide down in San Diego. Our goal for this trip is to find some Yellowtail and have a good time. We are fishing with the new owners of the Islander Shane Slaughter and John Conniff. We started fishing at grey light and our first stop was caused by a Bonito. Pictured here is my friend Sigmund Thomas and a beefy Bonito. Nice boney Sigmund.
