We
left
the
dock
and
10pm
and
headed
over
to
Santa
Rosa
Island
with
WHITE
SEABASS
on
the
brain!
The
past
few
days
the
seabass
had
been
biting,
so
needless
to
say
we
were
all
very
excited
and
anxious
to
leave
the
dock.
We
arrived
at
Santa
Rosa
Island
early
in
the
AM
and
started
making
some
squid.

was

On
the
way
over
to
Santa
Rosa
Island
we
stopped
at
Santa
Cruz
to
look
for
squid...and
boy
did
we
find
it!
We
turned
the
squid
lights
on..and
they
floated
right
up.

We left Channel Islands Sportfishing Center at around 4 AM. Captain Steve Kelly asked me if I wanted to catch Calicos at the Deep Hole or go for some big game at Anacapa. I opted for Anacapa. Big game makes much better pictures. We arrived at the squid grounds and did very well jigging for squid. Pictured here is Marissa!
