We departed Long Beach Marina on time with a light load. Our objective was to go to Catalina get some squid and catch some White Seabass. Angler Rhoderick Santiago hooked up into something big.

We departed Port Hueneme at 10:15 PM. We waited and waited for Angie but she never showed so we had to leave. Please try to arrive one hour early! Captain Joe Villareal decided that our best bet would be to go jig squid at Santa Cruz Island and then fish for White Seabass at Santa Rosa. We managed to jig plenty of squid. It took awhile but we got a whole tank!At gray light we started fishing and Ben caught a nice big bat ray!
