Bay Goby

Small, bottom-dwelling goby with a large head and fused pelvic fins forming a suction disc. Translucent to pale brown with fine mottling. Adults reach 3–4 inches — one of the smaller goby species.\n\n

Too small to target with hook and line. More often observed in tidal pools and mudflats. Not a sport fish but an important part of the bay ecosystem as prey for larger species.
